Terms & Conditions
At True North Yoga, we hold space for your growth, healing, and well-being. Our Terms & Conditions are here not to create barriers, but to ensure clarity, safety, and a supportive environment for all.
General Use
-
Our studio is a safe space for all. We warmly welcome people of all backgrounds, faiths, ages, body types, abilities, races, ethnicities, gender identities, and sexual orientations. True North Yoga is a place where everyone is encouraged to show up exactly as they are, without judgment. We are proud to be OutFit APPROVED and committed to welcoming LGBTQIA+ students and allies.
-
Weapons of any kind are not permitted on the premises.
-
All class descriptions, images, schedules, and content on our website are owned by True North Yoga and may not be copied or redistributed without our permission.
Class Registration & Attendance
-
Students are not required to book ahead; however, many of our heated classes fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged.
-
For hybrid classes (in-person + online), please register at least 30 minutes prior so teachers have time to prepare the digital studio.
-
If you register for a heated class that typically fills up, please cancel at least 1 hour before class if you cannot attend. No-shows or late cancellations for these classes will be charged.
Payments
-
We accept cash, check, or card for all classes, memberships, and rentals.
-
Refunds are not provided as a general rule. However, we understand that life happens — in extenuating circumstances, please reach out to us directly. We’re always willing to work with you.
-
Mats are available to rent for $2 per class.
Scholarship
We believe yoga should be accessible to everyone. If you are facing financial challenges, please know that cost should never be a barrier to your practice. Reach out to us directly to ask about scholarship opportunities.
Health & Liability
-
Yoga is a physical practice. By attending classes, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.
-
True North Yoga and its teachers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages sustained during practice.
-
We encourage all students to consult with their doctor before beginning or continuing yoga, especially if they have any medical conditions or health concerns.
Privacy & Communication
-
We respect your privacy. Your personal information will never be sold or shared.
-
We use text messages only for important updates (such as class cancellations) and email for newsletters.
Retreats, Workshops, and Events
-
Deposits and payments for workshops and retreats are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in event-specific terms.
-
In cases of illness or emergencies, please contact us directly, and we’ll do our best to find a solution.
